Day to Day Itinerary:

01

Day 1 : Haridwar – Barkot (205 Kms, 6 Hours Approx.)

Arrive in Haridwar meet and greet with our representative and then drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. On arrival check-in Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side Early morning (4:00 AM)

Drive to Jankichatti (42 KMS), start 5 Kms trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri either by walk, doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Yamunotri, take bath in hot Jamunabai Kund then go for Temple darshan, after having Temple darshan you can also cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice back to home as “Prasad”. After this back down to Jankichatti and then proceed to Barkot. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Barkot – Uttarkashi (95Kms, 4 Hours Approx) Morning (9:00 AM)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in the hotel, In evening we will visit the famous temple of Kashi –Viswnath at Uttarkashi and then back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Kms) each side Early morning (5:00 AM)

Drive to Gangotri. At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Then go for Temple darshan, after temple darshan drive back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Uttarkashi to Ukhimath (220kms/8-9hr) HT : 1319 MTS.

Drive straight to Ukhimath via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. En route, you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Ukhimath. On arrival Check-In at the Hotel, evening visit Omkareshwer Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 6 : Ukhimath to Kedarnath (40kms by road & 19kms Trek)

Morning after breakfast departure for Kedarnath Dham. Enjoy Kedarnath Darshan & back your hotel. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you your prebook Helipad. You can inform the driver about your arrival time whether it will by helicopter or by trek, so that Driver will be there to pick you up. (note: helicopter ticket is not included in this package).

By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gaurikund & then your trek strat for Kedarnath Ji. After darshan, you follow the same & back to Sonpraag. There is big parking issue so the driver will back tp another palace if his contact no. is not working then you have to arrange another taxi or wait for your driver.

Day 7 :Kedarnath to Ukhimath(19Kms Trek & 40kms/1hr by Road)

Early morning you get up before dawn and after taking bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After Temple Darshan trek down to Sonprayag. Further drive to Guptkashi.Take dershan of Kasiviswanath Temple in Guptkashi.Kasiviswanath temple is on the way of Sonprayag to Ukhimath. Check-in Hotel. Night Halt.

Day 8 : Ukhimath to Badrinath (215kms/7hr) HT : 3133 MTS.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three km of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Mana Village : Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. Vasundhara : As the name suggests, Vasundhara is a magnificent waterfall. This place is 5 km. from Badrinath out of which 2 km. is motorable upto Mana.

Bhim Pul : On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

Badrinath Weather: The average maximum temperature will be around 18° Celsius and the average minimum is 8° Celsius. Warm and woolen clothes are hence required for a stay in Badrinath throughout the year. Winter in Badrinath is often accompanied by snowfalls. Winter is very chilly with an average temperature of 5° Celsius. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, this time is usually closed for tourists.

Day 9 : Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160kms) / Kirtinagar (200kms)

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three km of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Rudraprayag / Kirtinagar via Joshimath. Check-in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 10 : Rudraprayag to Rishikesh to Haridwar (160kms/5hr) / Kirtinagar to Rishikesh to Haridwar (135kms/4hr)

Drive to Rishikesh, the ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh.
